**Agenda**

//TLDR: If I were to be elected, my main mission would be to try to grow the OSI membership, consider open data as an area of interest and focus on expanding corporate membership programs.//

First, I would like to see the OSI invest in showing up at more open source conferences and events (e.g., a booth) to spread awareness of the organization. I would also like to see the OSI help build out an event focused on the affiliate organizations, bring the affiliates together to see if there are some unique ways to collaborate across organizations and even industries.

Second, I would love to see the OSI invest in attracting more corporate members and creating programs for corporate members. There are many companies out there that benefit from the OSI’s work on OSD compliant licenses and we should find ways to support that work. Furthermore, sharing and opening data is becoming more important in a multitude of industries. I would like to see the OSI be at the forefront of this movement as sharing data is a natural extension of sharing source code.
