Stefan Busemann
Who am I?
In my life I am fulfilling a lot of different roles: Husband, Father, Founder of a company, part of the TYPO3 Community and Vice President of the TYPO3 Association.
Participating in open source has changed my life complete. My first touch point was in 2006, when I attended my first Open Source event. Since then I was drewn deeper and deeper in the TYPO3 Community, which resulted also in the founding of in2code - my company. In 2012 I was elected into the Board of TYPO3 Association and since 2020 I am Vice President.
What are my qualifications?
I was studying Business Informatics and worked 10 years in a consulting company for small and medium sized enterprises. Since more then 10 years I am leading my own company and I learned to lead (and maybe inspire) my employees.
What do I hope to accomplish as a board member?
I hope that I can use my knowledge of open source communities and organisation also at OSI. My strength is my organisation talent and my pragmatic approaches. I think it is important to create bridges between open source and non open source organizations and get a better awareness.
