I am viewing it from the eyes of what transpired with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). Web and/or Internet governance has become a globalized issue as open source will grow to be. As web page content, open source shouldn't be controlled by one country, or two countries, and so on. However, we are beginning to see the advent of "web pages" national governess and geopolitics.
Software development should instead follow the openness in sharing and education that has been and remains universal in science and technology. The creativity of scientists is not hampered by national borders and progress is made through the continued universal sharing of education,knowledge and advancements across all borders.
